The Master’s degree is 36 credits.
The Master’s of Divinity is 48 credits.
The Doctorate degree is 68 credits.
Each course is 4 credits. The dissertation or
a comparable project in the doctoral program
is 12 credits.
You have three choices for your degree Program:
Traditional Non-Resident Program
Supervised Independent Program
Validation Program
THE TRADITIONAL NON-RESIDENT PROGRAM
At the beginning of your program you may take 2 courses at the
same time. If it appears that you will be comfortable in taking 3 or
4 courses at the same time, you may discuss that with your course
Professor.
At this point, you should indicate if you have a special emphasis for
your major field of study and for your 2 minor fields of study.
SUPERVISED INDEPENDENT PROGRAM
If you choose the Supervised Independent Program, you are
responsible for the completion of your assigned courses, assignments,
and examinations with the assistance of your course Professor.
You meet once a week with your course Professor to discuss the progress
you are making and for any assistance he can provide you.
VALIDATION PROGRAM
The Validation Program is a combination of previous course work
and of continuous reading in the fields of your interests, and of your
extensive professional experience in your chosen fields of employment
related to your prior preparation. You may be required to take course
work should that be necessary to close noticeable gaps in your
preparation. You will meet weekly with your course professor to assist you
in your course progress.

can be evaluated.
It is not necessary to provide information for every topic on the
Criteria. You should use the items of the Criteria that fit
with your background and preparation.
You are, also, encouraged
to provide information on actitivies in which you engaged that are
not the Criteria.

CRITERIA FOR CREDIT BY EVALUATION
TRANSFER CREDITS
All course credit from universities, colleges, Bible schools and
institutes, and seminaries with C or higher grades.
Seminars, workshops, lectureships, professional education
For the religious seminars, workshops, lectureships, please
provide the overall theme of each, the location of each, the
dates of each, and your level of participation.
For professional employment, please provide the name of your
professional employment at the time, your professional duties
responsibilities at the time of the professional employment, and
specific titles of your employment, the dates and locations.
How long did you work in each of your professional employments?
What was your last rank or position in each of your professional
employments?
