Dear Graduate,
We are very pleased to invite you to participate in the TUA graduation ceremony to be held at the Saturn Road Church of Christ, Garland, Texas, at 2:00 PM, October 22, 2011.
A graduation ceremony is a moment in time to recognize our graduates for their outstanding academic achievements and their families for the support they have given their graduate family member. We are honored to have this opportunity to see and visit with our graduates, their family and friends and to enjoy the fellowship together.
Address lists are always incomplete. We would ask your assistance in letting all of our graduates know of this graduation ceremony on October 22, 2011. If you know a graduate of the Theological University of America, please contact him and ask him to join us in the ceremony. Also, please take a few minutes to review the alumni list on the TUA web site. If you see a name of a friend there, please contact him to let him know of the ceremony. We would like to have as many of our graduates as possible participate in this ceremony. We sincerely appreciate your assistance in making that possible.
CAP, GOWNS, HOODS, TASSELS
For the Bachelor's degree you will need a cap and gown;
For the Master's degree you will need a cap, gown, and a hood;
For the Doctorate degree you will need a cap, gown, and a hood;
The caps, gowns, hoods are rented from The Graduate House in Jackson, MS.
Each participating graduate must remit the following rental sums in order to obtain the regalia:
Bachelor's Regalia - $18.00
Master's Regalia - $38.00
Doctor's Regalia - $40.00
Each cap comes with a tassel. If you want to keep the tassel, please include an additional $7.00.
In addition to the rental costs for the Regalia and tassel, there is a $20.00 administration fee to be remitted with the Regalia rental costs. The orders will be sent on one composite Graduate Supply order form. Please make all checks to the Theological University of America.
The supplier of the caps, gowns, and hoods must receive full payment for all orders before October 3, 2011. Any graduate whose order is received after that date will be charged additional shipping and handling.
All caps, gowns, hoods, and tassels will be shipped in one carton to the Saturn Road Church of Christ. If your remittance is late and your cap, gown, hood, and tassel are not in the initial shipment, the Graduate House assesses an additional amount to cover separate shipping costs of the cap, gowns, hoods, and tassels for which the remittance was late.

ARRIVAL TIME AND CEREMONY
The graduation ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM, October 22, 2011. Please arrive at least thirty minutes early.
AFTER THE CEREMONY
Following the ceremony, a reception for graduates, family, and friends will be held in the fellowship hall.
RETURN OF THE REGALIA TO THE GRADUATE HOUSE
After the ceremony, each graduate will place his/her regalia in the package in which it came and place that package in the appropriate carton for return to the Graduate House. The carton will be sent from the Saturn Road church building.
